English 9 (block 4): September 4 2019

Today we read through the course outline and discussed class expectations. After that, we started with this response on a separate sheet of paper, but I didn't feel like we were getting far, so we moved on.

We started reading "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" together. I handed out a Fluency Log for it, but we didn't quite get to Chunk 1.
